Cootamundra
This crop-growing and grazing district 94km NE of Wagga Wagga, was the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman. Famous for the wattle that bears its name, the time to visit Cootamundra is Wattle Time, July and August, to see the vivid colour displayed throughout the town.
